GoNetfront

Privacy Policy

Effective September 30, 2026

GoNetfront is a hockey platform that hockey training programs, coaches and rinks use to run sessions and registrations, and that players and their families use to find, register for and follow those programs. This policy is provided by Vertical Apps, LLC, operator of GoNetfront, a New Hampshire limited liability company (“GoNetfront,” “we,” “us”).

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who receives it and the choices you have. It applies to gonetfront.com and the GoNetfront service. It does not apply to the separate practices of the programs, coaches and rinks you deal with through GoNetfront, or to other companies' websites.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your email address, and the first name, last name and optional display name you give us. We use your name when you act on GoNetfront, for example when you register a player or accept an invitation.

Sign-in information. If you sign in with an email code, we send a one-time code to your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile with us (your email address, and the name and profile picture on your Google account). We use only your email address from it, to identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Player information. For each player profile you create or manage: first name, last name and optional display name; optional date of birth; optional gender; whether the player skates or plays goal; skater positions; and any current teams and leagues you add.

Family and management information. Which account holders manage which player profiles and, if you make one, your declaration that you are a player’s parent or legal guardian. We record the declaration, its wording and when you made it. We do not verify declarations.

Program, session and participation information. The programs a player follows and the groups a program places them in; invitations a program sends to follow it, including the email address and any player name the program provides; registrations and orders, including the options chosen, prices and status; responses to session invitations (RSVPs); attendance and no-show records kept by a session’s organizers; and any no-show fees they assess.

Photos, videos and posts. Posts that programs, coaches and account holders publish, the photos and videos attached to them, the players tagged in them, and the photo and video permissions given for each player. Files are stored as uploaded, so any information embedded in a photo or video, such as when or where it was taken, is stored too.

Payment information. Records of payments, refunds, disputes and payouts, the identifiers our payment processor assigns, and the payment notifications it sends us. Card numbers are entered into and processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store full card numbers. For a saved card we keep limited details Stripe provides, such as the card brand, last four digits and expiration date (see “Payments and Stripe”).

Program, coach and rink information. For people who run programs, coach or manage rinks: organization details, membership and staff roles, invitations sent to staff email addresses, rink claims and the information submitted with them, coach profiles (a coach’s name and biography can be public), and the business and payout details Stripe needs to pay a program. Members of a rink’s team can see each other’s names and email addresses.

Messages. Emails we send on your behalf or on a program’s behalf, and records of whether they were delivered, bounced or unsubscribed. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.

Technical and security information. When you use GoNetfront, our hosting and infrastructure providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages or services requested, and the time of the request. Our sign-in system also records security events such as sign-ins and sign-outs.

2. How we receive information

  • From you, when you create an account, set up a player profile, register, respond to an invitation, upload content or contact us.
  • From programs that invite you by email to follow them; the program provides your email address and may provide a player's name.
  • From programs, coaches and rinks, for example rosters, attendance, groups and the posts they publish.
  • From service providers: Google, if you sign in with Google; Stripe, about payments, refunds, disputes and payouts; and our email provider, about delivery.
  • Automatically, through the technical information described above.

3. How we use information

  • To provide GoNetfront: create and secure accounts, sign you in, manage player profiles, and let you follow programs and register for sessions.
  • To process registrations, payments, refunds and disputes, and to pay programs.
  • To show programs and session organizers the information they need to run their programs, as described in the next section.
  • To send service messages: sign-in codes, registration confirmations, invitations, and messages from programs and session organizers.
  • To apply age or other eligibility rules a session sets.
  • To keep GoNetfront safe: prevent fraud and abuse, investigate problems and enforce our terms.
  • To provide support and answer questions.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Player information shared with programs and organizers

Player information goes only to the people who need it, and each audience receives a defined set of information.

Account holders who manage the player. Everyone who manages a player profile can see and edit that profile. Each manager chooses which programs the player follows and which sessions the player registers for.

Programs a player follows. The program’s owners and administrators see the player’s name and display name, birth year, whether the player skates or plays goal, and any current teams added to the profile. They do not receive the player’s full date of birth or gender through the player’s follow.

Organizers of sessions a player registers for. The people authorized to manage a session see the information they need to run registrations and the roster, including the player’s name, birth year, whether the player skates or plays goal, and positions.

Sessions with an age limit. If a session has an age limit, the people authorized to manage it also see the date of birth used to check the player’s eligibility, as it was when the registration was made.

Gender. Gender is never shared with programs or session organizers.

Who paid. The roster lists the registered players. When organizers review an order or a refund, they also see the name of the account holder who paid for it, and on a session’s roster they see the name of whoever recorded a player’s RSVP. They do not see those account holders’ email addresses. When an organizer emails the families of registered players, GoNetfront sends the message and the organizer does not see the email addresses.

Photos and videos. Photos and videos that show a player are shown to a post’s audience only as the player’s photo and video permissions allow. Those permissions are separate, optional choices made by the player’s managers, and any manager can withdraw them. A permission that is withdrawn or not given hides the photo or video from the post’s audience, but not from the people authorized to manage the post or from the player’s managers: they can still see it until it is removed, its post is deleted or the file is permanently deleted.

Public pages. Programs and coaches can have public pages and publish public posts. Player profiles are not public, players cannot publish public posts, and public posts cannot tag players.

5. Players, children and families

Many hockey players are children. GoNetfront is designed for parents, legal guardians and other authorized adults to create and manage youth players’ profiles.

When an adult adds a player as “my child,” they declare that they are the player’s parent or legal guardian and have authority to manage the profile. We record that declaration but do not verify it. Only add a child’s information if you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or have their permission.

Date of birth and gender are optional. A session with an age limit needs a date of birth to check eligibility.

If you believe a child’s information was added to GoNetfront without a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission, contact us at team@gonetfront.com and we will review it.

6. Payments and Stripe

Payments on GoNetfront are processed by Stripe. When you pay, you enter your card or other payment details into Stripe’s secure payment form; those details go directly to Stripe. GoNetfront does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. If a card is saved for later payments, we keep only limited details Stripe provides, such as the card brand, last four digits and expiration date, so you can recognize it. We give Stripe your email address and name to create and identify your payment account and receipts. We keep records of each payment, refund and dispute, including amounts, status and Stripe’s identifiers.

Programs receive their payouts through Stripe Connect. We give Stripe the program’s name, country and its owner’s email address; Stripe collects business, identity and bank details from the program or its representative directly. Stripe uses information it collects under its own privacy policy, including to process payments, meet its legal obligations and prevent fraud: stripe.com/privacy.

7. Service providers and other sharing

We use service providers to run GoNetfront. They process information for us to provide their services:

  • Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in.
  • Vercel: website and application hosting.
  • Postmark: sending email, including sign-in codes, service messages and program announcements.
  • Stripe: payment processing and program payouts.
  • Google: sign-in with Google, if you choose it, and maps and address lookup for rink locations.

We may also share information:

  • with programs, coaches, rinks and other account holders as described in this policy;
  • to comply with law, legal process or a lawful request from authorities;
  • to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or GoNetfront, including to prevent fraud;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy; and
  • with your permission or at your direction.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. GoNetfront shows no third-party advertising.

8. Emails and communications

We send service emails that are part of using GoNetfront, such as sign-in codes, registration confirmations, invitations and changes to sessions you are registered for. Programs and session organizers can also send messages to the families of players who follow them or are registered for their sessions. GoNetfront sends these on their behalf; programs and organizers see how many messages were sent, not the recipients’ email addresses. A message written by a program’s or organizer’s staff member uses that person’s email address as the reply-to address, so a reply goes to them directly.

Program announcements include an unsubscribe link. Service emails about your account and registrations do not have an unsubscribe option while you use GoNetfront.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

GoNetfront uses cookies and your browser’s storage only to make the service work. For example, they keep you signed in, protect the sign-in process, return you to the page you were on after signing in, remember a program invitation you opened, and let you recover a registration that was interrupted (your browser keeps the player and session names for that registration on your device).

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Pages that include a map or address search load Google Maps, and payment pages load Stripe’s payment form, which also loads fonts from Google. These services may collect technical information about your browser under their own policies. Stripe does so in part to prevent fraud.

10. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Some records are kept after that: payment, refund and payout records for tax, accounting and legal purposes; records needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements; and security logs.

When a photo or video is removed or its post is deleted, it stops being shown to anyone. When the permission it needs is withdrawn, it stops being shown to the post’s audience, but the people authorized to manage the post and the player’s managers can still see it until it is removed, its post is deleted or the file is permanently deleted. The file itself is permanently deleted about three years after it is removed, its post is deleted or the permission is withdrawn. A record that it existed is kept.

Some records, such as parent or guardian declarations and attendance records, are kept as an unchanged history.

11. Your choices and requests

  • You can update your name and your players' profiles in your account.
  • Date of birth and gender on a player profile are optional.
  • A player's managers choose which programs the player follows, and can unfollow a program.
  • Photo and video permissions are optional, and any manager of a player can withdraw them.
  • You can end a player's team membership, remove or delete posts you manage, and remove a saved card.
  • You can unsubscribe from program announcements using the link in the email.

To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or the deletion of your account or a player profile you manage, email team@gonetfront.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. Some information may need to be kept, for example payment records we must keep by law, or records shared with other account holders who manage the same player.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, such as rights to access, correct or delete personal information, and to appeal a decision about your request. Contact us to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Examples include encrypted connections between your browser and GoNetfront, access controls that limit each person, including GoNetfront staff, to the information their role needs, and one-time sign-in codes rather than passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away.

13. Where information is processed

GoNetfront is operated from the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using GoNetfront, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as GoNetfront changes. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we will give additional notice, for example by email or in the service, before it takes effect.
